Marketing Executive

The Marketing Executive will report directly to the Head of Communications.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing or related program preferred
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading and writing)
• Basic office computer skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Ambitious for the media industry and energetic
• Previous work experience in media or digital marketing a plus

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain partnerships and sponsorship opportunities
• Manage social media campaigns across various platforms
• Oversee directory of listings
• Perform copywriting and translation work in both English and Chinese
• Assist Events Team to design, plan and implement PR/promotional activities
Conduct marketing research, build and maintain the market intelligence (MI) and regularly provide market analysis reports
• Coordinate closely with the internal sections, especially the sales and editorial sections for maximum synergy

Business Development (BD) Manager

The BD Manager will be responsible expanding Urbanatomy Media's business field in a large region or in multiple product lines (eg. new digital products).

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or above, with a major in advertising or marketing preferred
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading and writing)
• Basic office computer skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Ambitious for the media industry and energetic
• Previous working experience in the media industry is a plus

Responsibilities:
• Liaising with relevant internal departments and creating national sales team for a specific territory
• Conducting market research and assessing investment opportunity of nationwide commercial projects, leading company through due diligence exercise, market and financial analysis
• Taking initiative to grow sales revenue by multi-city deals, meeting and exceeding individual/team sales performance and development goals
• Managing prospects and sales forecasts in a specific territory nationwide

Commercial Intern

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or above, with a major in advertising or marketing preferred
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading and writing)
• Basic office computer skills
• A people person, who is energetic, logical and is able to manage time and resources via given objectives

Responsibilities:
• Systematically help the team to seek sponsorship opportunities for the company's media and events-related products
• Conduct marketing research, build and maintain the market intelligence (MI) and regularly provide market analysis reports
• Assist Events Team to design, plan and implement PR activities
• Coordinate closely with the internal sections, especially the sales and editorial sections for maximum synergy
• Work on other marketing assignments as needed

Editorial Interns

Calling all aspiring editors, writers, journalists and bloggers. Fancy getting hands-on editorial and writing experience with a glamorous English-language media company internship? That’s and Urban Family magazines are looking for interns with an interest in journalism and new media to work alongside our dedicated and dynamic team.

We're looking for enthusiastic candidates with excellent writing and reporting skills and an eye for details.

Requirements
• Basic writing and reporting experience
• Excellent English-writing skills, with a strong grasp of spelling, grammar, punctuation and style
• Experience in maintaining and creating content for a blog or website
• Experience with or interest in learning how to work with common Content Management Systems (i.e. Wordpress, Tumblr, Drupal, etc)
• Experience with or interest in learning HTML basics
• Experience with or interest in learning how to work with common social media platforms (i.e Facebook, Twitter, WeChat, Instagram, Weibo, etc)
• Experience with or interest in learning how to work with Adobe Photoshop or other image editing software (i.e. Lightroom, GIMP)
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Mandarin writing, reading and speaking not required, but would be a plus

Responsibilities
• Writing, copyediting and fact-checking of content for our websites and print magazines
• Researching and pitching new story ideas
• Conducting interviews and getting in touch with appropriate PR, event and media contacts
• Representing That’s and Urban Family at events
